GTD has acquired invaluable experience with Can Ovens and Pin Machines. We possess knowledge and proven designs from previous partners Sommerset Technologies and licensees Ross Air Systems; people who understand that the unique two-piece aluminium can industry revolves around the speed and the lightness of the product.

GTD has designed complete Can Oven and Pin Machine systems capable of heating two-piece cans sufficient to dry the decoration at line speeds up to 2000 cans per minute (please refer to GTDs Reference List on the About Us page). The design involves a well tested Pin Conveying System, and an integrated Air Impingement and Can Stabilisation System – both enveloped within the Pin Oven.

Similarly, GTD have designs for baking the inside of two piece cans. A slightly rearranged Conveying System is employed within a system similar to that aforementioned.
